How MinimaLisa Gives Back

When you let go of items, we aim to make sure they find new homes and not end up in the landfill. At MinimaLisa, the belief is decluttering should benefit both our clients and the community.

Through our partnership with a community garden, MinimaLisa hosts monthly giveaways where neighbors can pick up clothing, shoes, books, household goods, and more — free of charge. The year ends with a festive Holiday Gift Shoppe, complete with gift wrapping, hot cocoa, sweets, and a visit from Santa.

MinimaLisa also shares donations at community events across NYC, giving your unused items a second life and helping those in need. It’s a win for your space, your peace of mind, and your community.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a professional organizer do?

A professional organizer helps you declutter, create systems, and design functional spaces that work for your lifestyle. We provide hands-on support, guidance, and long-term strategies to keep your home or office organized.

We work with bedrooms, closets, kitchens, playrooms, garages, basements, home offices, and more. We also assist with moves (packing/unpacking) and donation management.

Most sessions are 4 hours long. This allows enough time to make noticeable progress without feeling overwhelming. Larger projects may require multiple sessions.

Cost depends on the scope of your project. We offer hourly rates and package options for multi-session projects. After your consultation, we will provide a personalized estimate.

Your involvement is optional. Many clients like to be part of the process, while others prefer to step away and return to see the transformation. We’ll discuss your comfort level during the consultation.

We can work with what you already own, recommend products, or shop on your behalf. We’ll only suggest items if they truly add value to your space and systems.

We’ll help sort items for donation, recycling, or disposal. We can also drop off donations on your behalf (within certain limits) and provide a receipt if available.

Yes. Client confidentiality is a top priority. Your space and belongings are treated with respect and discretion at all times.

Simply contact us for a free phone consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, challenges, and project scope, then schedule your first session.

You’re not alone—many clients feel this way at first. Our role is to support, not judge. We create a safe, encouraging environment so you can move forward with confidence.

Yes! For clients who prefer remote support, we provide virtual organizing sessions via video call with personalized step-by-step guidance.

We serve clients in New York City, with travel options available for surrounding areas. Contact us to confirm availability in your location.
